Momentum is a measure of price change the speed of tools, rather than price itself, it belongs to a leading indicator. Momentum is a fixed time interval by continuing the calculation of the price difference to measured. Construct a 20-day momentum line approach is to use the most recent closing price minus the closing price 20 days prior to the final zero line drawn around the positive or negative. The shorter the time, the momentum generated by the more sensitive line, the longer the momentum generated by the more slow-line.

The basic use of momentum as follows:

1, wearing the zero line has momentum online buy signal;


2, the momentum line crossing-zero line has to sell signal;


3, by visual inspection to identify the most in line with current market momentum line below the line, when the momentum in the upper boundary line (overbought zone) is sold, in the bottom boundary (oversold zone) is to buy;


4, the momentum line and prices deviate from the trend may shift a warning;


5, using the momentum of the trend line must be in accordance with the direction of transactions.
